She also had the opportunity to interview students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School during the March for Our Lives event in Washington, D.C. Notably, she embarked on an extraordinary journey, joining a charter bus from Atlanta to Pasadena, California, to document a group’s historic trip in support of the University of Georgia Bulldogs at the Rose Bowl. Armed with only a headlamp, she managed to shoot and edit her stories while enduring a 37-hour bus ride—a true testament to her unwavering dedication as a Dawg fan!

She recently joined the Runner Cam Team for the Peachtree Road Race, a cherished event she’s been participating in with her father since she was just 11 years old. Additionally, she had the opportunity to cover Atlanta United’s victory parade, which took over the downtown streets following their inaugural MLS championship win. Christie is an enthusiastic supporter of local professional, college, and high school sports, and she enjoys staying active through workouts during her free time. She provided minute-by-minute updates on live evacuation orders, sirens, and the rapidly rising waters caused by the unprecedented Category 5 hurricane that struck the Gulf.
