In June 2010, Weiss took on the role of Video Editor at AOL, honing her skills in video editing and contributing to the production of multimedia content.
Before diving into broadcast journalism, Weiss briefly served as an Administrative Assistant/Loan Processor at Wells Fargo Financial in the year 2010. Throughout her career, Weiss also gained valuable experience through internships at prominent media organizations. In 2008, she interned at WLS-TV ABC 7, CBS News New York during the Democratic National Convention, and KCCI CBS 8, where she had the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of news production.
During her time at Drake University, Weiss held the position of Television Production Director at the Drake Broadcasting System from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, she served as a Managing Editor, Writer, and News Editor at The Times Delphic from 2006 to 2008. During her spare time, she likes to try new restaurants, take strolls/walks, read a good book, cook, travel, swim, golf, volunteer for any charitable cause such as Alpha Phi, or cheer for her favorite baseball team, Chicago Cubs.
